SPM International acquires Status Pro Maschinendiagnostik GmbH in Germany
SPM International, Sweden, today announces the acquisition of German condition monitoring expert Status Pro Maschinendiagnostik GmbH. A former Status Pro Maschinenmesstechnik GmbH subsidiary, the company now joins the SPM Group of subsidiaries and continues operations under the name SPM Instrument GmbH. Based in Munich, the company will continue to address the condition monitoring needs of industries nationwide.
SPM Instrument, headquartered in Sweden, has established itself as a prominent manufacturer of advanced condition monitoring solutions, operating through a network of subsidiaries worldwide. With the strategic addition of Status Pro Maschinendiagnostik to the Group, SPM is spreading its European reach, in line with its long-term growth strategy.
Status Pro Maschinenmesstechnik GmbH, the parent company of the now-sold business, is renowned for its expertise in machine tool alignment and leveling technologies. Additionally, the company has served as a key distributor for SPM in Germany for nearly thirty years – the last decade through its condition monitoring-focused subsidiary. After years of fruitful collaboration and mutual success, both companies have recognized that the acquisition of the Munich subsidiary by SPM International represents the most advantageous path forward for all stakeholders involved.
