Intellinova Compact Ex is a high-performance online condition monitoring system for safe remote monitoring of measuring points in hazardous areas.
Condition monitoring in Zones 0/20, 1/21, 2/22
Intended for installing in Ex gas Zone 2 or Ex dust Zone 22, the Intellinova Compact Ex system is complete with power supply, cable glands, and sensor inputs with Ex interfaces for transducers located in Ex gas Zones 0, 1 or 2 or Ex dust Zones 20, 21 or 22. Industries such as oil and gas, offshore, petrochemical, and sugar plants are a few examples where Intellinova Compact Ex is the ideal condition monitoring solution. Pumps, fans, gearboxes, and winches are typical applications.
Maximum flexibility with vibration analysis and SPM HD
Intellinova Compact Ex offers the strongest combination of measuring techniques available. Vibration measurement (DC - 40 kHz) with HD Order Tracking and sophisticated analysis and the SPM HD technique for condition monitoring of rolling element bearings in the 0.1 - 20 000 RPM range provides maximum flexibility for the detection of machine problems.

Measuring methods
Intellinova Compact Ex offers the strongest combination of measuring techniques available:
- SPM HD, shock pulse technology for measurement in the 0.1 - 20 000 RPM range with supreme signal-to-noise performance and very high resolution
- HD ENV, high-definition vibration enveloping technology for detection of early-stage gear and bearing faults, providing crystal clear spectrums and time signals
- SPM LR/HR HD, shock pulse measurement method
- EVAM, advanced vibration measurement (DC - 40 kHz) and analysis
- Broadband vibration measurement according to ISO 2372 or ISO 10816
- FFT with symptom evaluation
- User-defined measurements via analog inputs or OPC, for example, pressure, flow, and load.
Technical overview
The system is available in four versions, each with a fixed channel configuration for both shock pulse and vibration measurement. All versions come with multiple rpm and analog inputs as well as status outputs. Using the IntelliLogic functions, these hardware features can be taken full advantage of.
